Meet Our Team: Rob Hudson

Rob Hudson has the special distinction of being two-time member of Team Crystal Flash. After an 8-year “first term” at CF in the 2000s, Rob departed for an opportunity with an Authorized Shell Oil Distributor, a role he held for 10 years. Rob’s next career move took him to Florida, where he worked as a commercial fuel representative in the marine industry. When an opportunity to return to a role on CF’s Commercial Sales Team presented itself in 2020, Rob didn’t hesitate to re-join the ranks at Crystal Flash. Rob now serves as a Commercial Account Representative in the Central Region of Michigan, a territory that includes the Lakeshore counties of Oceana, Muskegon and Ottawa, as well as Newaygo County and the western half of Kent County.

Rob has over 26 years of experience in the lubricant industry, with 14 of those years being in the environmental sector. His background also includes membership in NORA (National Oil Recyclers Association), 10 years of Shell Oil technical training certifications, and the distinction of being Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) approved. The TWIC credential is a requirement for the purchasing/selling of fuel in maritime states and in cases where workers need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities/vessels.

Rob resides in West Michigan on Gun Lake, which fits perfectly with his passion for boating, fishing, and spending time on the lake. He’s very proud of his two grown daughters and three wonderful grandchildren. In addition to family time, which always comes first, Rob also enjoys fitness activities, high school/college basketball and volunteer coaching opportunities.
