Meet Our Team: Omar Buchanan

Omar Buchanan joined the Crystal Flash Commercial Business Team in October 2021 as Lubricants Warehouse Assistant/Driver. In May 2022, Omar was promoted to Lubricants Manager.

A 2012 graduate of Western Michigan University (Business Management), Omar came to CF with a strong background in transportation and customer service, having previously driven a box truck for a small Three Rivers company and school busses for Three Rivers Community Schools. Based out of CF’s Kalamazoo location, Omar enjoys providing solutions for CF’s lubes customers so they can focus on growing and improving their businesses.

Originally from Muskegon, Omar is proud of his time as a member of the Big Reds high school football team, which included a stellar 39-4 overall career record and a Michigan High School State Championship title in 1989. The father of three children and two stepchildren, he’s especially proud that his kids have chosen to follow in his footsteps as WMU Broncos. His daughter is a WMU graduate, while his oldest son will graduate from WMU later this year. Omar’s youngest son is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and plans to attend WMU next year. Go Broncos!

Currently residing in Three Rivers, Omar and his fiancée, Amanda, have their wedding planned for September 2023. In his free time, Omar enjoys spending time with friends and family. He also loves sports of all kinds, but especially football and the Detroit Lions.
